Book report

 W.A.L.T-write about a book that we have read but change it up a bit.

We had make a google doc then choose a book to write about then make it your own

It was challenging to pick a book because I very to many good books.It was easy because it is a small book.Next time I want to work on my punctuation.

Cinquain and Haiku poems

 W.A.L.T-use interesting vocabulary and the correct language features in our poetry.Following the specific structure of two types of poem.

I liked writing the poems and picking a topic.Next time I could add more detail.

Kodiak bear

.W.A.L.T-write an information report about a wild animal.

We had to write an plan about a wild animal and then write a information report  on google docs.

I liked making the plan and them putting it on the google doc.  I liked picking the wild animal and writing facts about it.

Favourite Olympic sport

 W.A.L.T-Write about our favourite Olympic sport.

We had to write a plan and then pot it on a google doc.

I like doing the plan and then writing on a google doc.

I also liked making it interesting.

New Zealand Athletes profile

 W.A.L.T-Search fact  about a person and write it on a google slide.

reflection:I liked googling the facts and then writing them down.

I also liked making it creative and easy to read.

Instructional writing

 W.A.L.T-Use a planning template to structure an instructional text

Write in correct sentences.

We had to write instructional writing on google docs.

reflection:I liked adding description to my work and making a funky goal.

Te reo emotions.

W.A.L.T-Say how we are feeling in te reo maori.

We had to use the emotions that we learnt and write some sentence with them.

I liked that we had a lot of emotions to chose for and we got to make our own sentences.

Persuasive speeches

W.A.L.T- Write a persuasive speech that encourages the listener to agree with my opinion.

We picked a topic and went on google docs and typed a speech.

I liked that we had to say it into the webcam.

I also liked writing the speech.

W.A.L.T-Use prompts to construct sentences to persuade my audience to agree with my opinion.

 We got a topic then wrote sentences on it. 

It was easy to write the sentences but it was hard to pick a topic.

 W.A.L.T-Introduce our whanau in te reo.

I liked doing the drawings.

I also liked doing the writing.

next time I wish could do a better job on my family.

whakapapa

WALT-ask our whanau all about my whakapapa, use the information to complete a template.

We had to write our whakapapa and add pictures. 

I liked adding the pictures.

I learnt my whakapapa.

prototec

 WALT- Know our basic facts off by heart and identify which problems you are having trouble with.

We are trying to learn our basic facts off my heart using a program called prototec.

I am currently on stage 5.

I to get my time faster then 5 minutes.

Tuatara acrostic poem

WALT:read to gather information and write to share key facts.

We used google drawings to trace a tuatara and write a poem.

 

I liked reading about the tuatara.

I liked writing all the interesting words.

The Treaty of Waitangi

WALT-Read to find information and locate significant towns and cities within New Zealand on a map. 

We read all about the treaty of waitangi and then answered questions about it.

Reflection:I liked answering the questions and writing the words.

I wish I could do the last question.
